Who is this for?

This program is designed for people who identify as BIPOC and are either:

  • MLIS students or those who have graduated from such a program within the last three years 
  • Early professionals (three years or fewer)

Equity in Action Grant

Our Equity in Action Grant program funds digital projects that focus on anti-racist practices and marginalized communities. We’re very excited to announce the grant recipients for the 2022 cycle of METRO’s Equity in Action grant program! Congratulations to the following institutions.

Equity in Action - Recipients

Currently in its second cycle, METRO's Equity in Action grant has awarded funding to fourteen institutions for eight projects. We are very proud and excited to see how the projects from the first cycle have flourished, and we're looking forward to seeing the progress of this year's grantees.
