The St. Barnabas Hospital Educational Resources & Library Services Center seeks a full-time reference librarian. Responsibilities include but are not limited to database searching; developing and providing library instruction and outreach programs; DOCLINE services; maintaining the library’s LibGuide; collection development; and assisting the director with the annual budget.
Requirements MLS and minimum one year experience in a health sciences or related library. Candidate must be a self-motivated team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with or knowledge of HealthStream and Springshare programs a plus.
St. Barnabas Hospital a 422 bed teaching hospital and level 2 trauma center is located in the Belmont section of the Bronx. The hospital is accessible by NY MTA and Metro North; and is within walking distance of Fordham University, the Bronx Zoo, and the New York Botanical Garden.
Salary commensurate with experience.
