RPI Libraries is accepting applications for a Librarian III, who will be responsible for overseeing the Libraries’ collection management and resource sharing programs. As part of the senior management team, you would participate in overall library administration and planning.

RPI Libraries has some exciting resource sharing initiatives underway; we recently joined the IDS Project, and are in the process of moving ILLiad to being hosted in the cloud. Last year we were recognized for participating in a "Covid-19 Pod" of libraries that provided RapidILL services to libraries in need. We participate in regional and national resource sharing programs, including ReShare through ConnectNY, Empire Library Delivery through CDLC and ESLN, and DOCLINE. The Collection Management and Resource Sharing Librarian III would have a leadership role in shaping the future of our collection management and resource sharing programs.

RPI is located on a beautiful 275-acrecampus in upstate NY. Rensselaer is home to five schools, 32 research centers, three makerspaces, an observatory, and one of the world’s fastest supercomputers.
