Please join us for a get-together and conversation with your fellow Library support staff members to share our experiences during the coronavirus pandemic. We look forward to hearing what has been working for you in maintaining social distancing, learn what’s been happening around you, and talk through how you’re coping with this stressful time.
At the end of this conversation, you will be able to:
Understand how your fellow library workers are negotiating a changed world
Implement tips from fellow workers on how to cope with continued social distancing
Gain perspective on what it’s been like for colleagues to have healed from Covid and those who have experienced the vaccination process
This meeting will be facilitated by Davis Erin Anderson, Assistant Director for Programs and Partnerships at METRO Library Council. Prior to the pandemic, Davis gained facilitation skills through teaching in-person workshops and classes on web literacy all across New York State. From her home in Brooklyn, Davis has been facilitating and producing online events. With METRO staff, she’s created over 50 events since the pandemic began in earnest in March 2020.
