Tour & Social Hour: Carnegie Hall Library & Archives

In-Person

Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of Carnegie Hall’s Rose Archives and The Rose Museum. Opened in 1891, Carnegie Hall is a historic National landmark in New York City, comprising three stages dedicated to the transformative power of music and the performing arts.

The library and archives team will showcase artifacts and ephemera related to the history and culture of Carnegie Hall. A tour of the Archives Research Room, Storage Room, and Rose Museum will also be part of the tour.

Following the tour, join us for a social hour at a nearby location to connect with fellow local library and archives workers.

Please note: Space is limited, so if you’ve secured a spot but then find you’re unable to join, please let us know so we can open your spot to someone on the waitlist.

Location: Carnegie Hall’s main address is 881 7th Avenue, but the entrance for the Rose Archives is located around the corner at 154 West 57th Street, on the 8th Floor. Visitors will receive an email notification from Carnegie Hall’s buildings management system, Proxyclick, with invite details. Please be prepared to show identification at the Security Desk.
