Evening/Weekend Circulation Coordinator - Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University

Reporting to the Head of Collection Services, this position provides primary coverage of the Circulation Desk at the Law Library and supervises the Circulation Area in the absence of the Head of Collection Services. Assists other Collection Services staff when workload requires.


  1. Assists staff in need of advanced circulation features
  2. Provides guidance to users on library policies and facilitates access to reserve materials
  3. Organizes and maintains all materials at the Circulation Desk including course reserve and other reserve materials
  4. Facilitates student printing as needed and assists in the maintenance of laser printers and photocopiers in public areas of the library
  5. Prints, distributes, and follows up on overdue notices and bills to patrons, and maintains the missing booklist
  6. Searches new book lists, publisher catalogs, etc., for possible acquisitions as assigned
  7. Maintains stacks
  8. Provides assistance to patrons using microform equipment
  9. Creates and updates signage as needed, and assists with maintenance of faculty display cases
  10. Retrieves requested materials from off-site storage
  11. Assists in filing looseleaf services as demands of circulation workflow permit
  12. Delivers mail to faculty mailboxes and offices
  13. Performs other duties as assigned by Head of Collection Services


  1. High school diploma or equivalent required
  2. B.A. preferred
  3. One year of library experience or similar office work required
  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Strong organizational skills
  6. Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team
  7. PC proficiency
  8. Supervisory skills
