In this second part of our webinar series, we’ll discuss how to get started web archiving initiatives, beginning with identifying needs and goals. Two teams will present on their web archiving work from different perspectives.
The first presentation by Lisa Barrier and Kathryn Gronsbell will provide a case study from Carnegie Hall Susan W. Rose Archives. Lisa and Kathryn will describe steps from their start with web archiving in 2018 to present. Their approach is applicable to programs of any size and will be of special interest for those working in smaller programs.
The second presentation will feature project team members from Archipelago, Diego Pino and Allison Lund. Attendees will learn about Archipelago’s expanding tool set that can be used to display web archives, among other digital materials. Archipelago provides new opportunities to share a broader representation of contemporary resources in context alongside thematically related materials.
This webinar is the second in a series of five curated and hosted by Anna Perricci.
