All SIGs must identify a Convenor or Co-Convenors who will: :

- update the METRO SIG Manager regarding meetings and events as well as changes in SIG leadership;
- keep SIG members updated about meetings and events;
- announce all meetings and events via METRO-L;
- provide a summary report and list of attendees, with contact information if possible, following each meeting.
SIGs hold meetings and events at scheduled times throughout the year and are open to staff of any METRO institution and other interested individuals. METRO lists all SIG meetings on its Calendar of Events and also announces the formation of new SIGs via METRO-L and the Web page.
