News> Sewell Memorial Foundation Travel Stipend Award Announcement

Bill Lundmark, Electronic Resources Librarian at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, Touro-Harlem Medical Library was recently awarded a Sewell Memorial Foundation Travel Stipend to attend the 2009 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Conference in Boston. Mr. Lundmark is the Library’s liaison to the Touro College of Pharmacy and handles collection development for the program.

“Attendance at this year’s AACP Conference was a most valuable experience for me," explains Lundmark. "My goal was to develop a list of titles for consideration in my update of the Laws, Ethics, and Legislation section of the ‘AACP Basic Resources List for Libraries,’ a compendium of publications recommended for college pharmacy program collections, as suggested to me by the presenters. The four seminars I attended to garner these suggestions yielded excellent results.”
