Digital Metro New York

In January 2005 METRO launched Digital Metro New York, a collaborative effort to support digitization projects involving significant collections held by METRO member libraries in New York City and Westchester County. This initiative is supported in part by funds from the New York State Regional Bibliographic Databases Program.

Since 2005, METRO has awarded a total of $385,000 in grants to support 33 digital projects. In 2009, METRO will support another 8 projects with approximately $80,000 in grants.
