Prison Librarian's SIG Meeting

Speaker

This meeting will be the last that Carl Romalis and I act as conveners of the Prison Librarian SIG.  The main focus of this meeting will be to talk about the changing of the guard. As discussed in our previous meeting, Carl and I feel the need to move aside to usher in a fresh perspective on this work.  Brooklyn Public Library Employment Librarian (and NYPL Correctional Services Librarian) Sarah Ball, and Sara Medlicot-Taylor of the Pratt Center for Community Development have expressed interest taking the reigns.  Thank you both!

There will also be a guest speaker from a local organization working with people returning to NYC from prison.  Details to come.
