Transit Museum Tour

Metropolitan New York Library Council and the Archivists Round Table of New York City present a tour series of libraries and archives in New York City.

Led by Desiree Alden-Gonzalez, Archivist & Acting Collections Manager, our tour will include the Gabrielle Shubert Research Center. Opened in 2015, the center is a newly constructed 14,000 square foot collection storage space. It houses the museum’s collection artifacts and their growing archival collections, including books, documents, photographs, media, architectural and engineering drawings.

This free tour caps at 12 individuals. A wait list is available. You must be a member of either METRO or A.R.T. to RSVP.
