Bullying is something that, for many people, did not end with graduation from middle school.  It continues in many workplaces, including all kinds of libraries.  Please join us for this free presentation and discussion of workplace bullying.

This program will include:

     • Definitions: bullying in general, and bullying in the workplace

     • Some recent news stories re: bullying

     • Effects of bullying

     • What to do? Different courses of action

     • Resources

Following the brief presentation will be a group discussion:
Is workplace bullying worse in a struggling economy?
Is it worse in certain types of libraries, or certain types of workplaces/professions?
What is the best way to handle it?
