Teaching Students About the Open Web: A High School to College Transition SIG Meeting

Too Cool for School?

Is it the responsibility of high school and college librarians to educate students about searching the open web, using and sharing on social media, and the larger information landscape? In the article The School Librarian as Information Alchemist, the authors say "Yes!"
Please join us for our Fall High School to College Transition SIG meeting on Tuesday 11/3 from 4:30 to 6:00pm to discuss this issue.

In this meeting, we will welcome our new co-covener, Marifran Demaine from Putnam Valley High School. We will also make plans for future meetings, so please come with your ideas and suggestions for our two Spring meetings.
