Mobile Information Literacy Panel: Are You In the Know About Info to Go?

Join METRO's Mobile Computing SIG on May 6, 2011 from 3:00-4:30pm at METRO to discuss the impact of mobile phones on information literacy, the new ways that patrons are searching for information, and how librarians can keep their own skills up to date.

Our speakers will be:
Head of Systems, New York Society Library

Reference Librarian, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Library

Electronic Resources- Web Services Librarian, Leonard Lief Library at Lehman College

If your library is working on a project you would like to share with the group, please contact one of the SIG's co-conveners.

The presentations will also be simulcast as a webinar in METRO's Online Training Center. Log-in information will be sent out to all RSVP's approximately one week before the event.

After the panel discussion and Q&A, join us for some Friday fun as we head over to the nearby bar Blind Pig, at 233 E 14th St, between 3rd and 2nd aves.
