David Kraiker has worked for the Census Bureau for 18 years. Before recently moving into his current position doing outreach, he worked in the Geography Department on geospatial information and GIS creations. Before Census (BC!), he worked at Hammond Maps, Inc. and at Martel Inc. David obtained his BA from Clark University and more recently, his MS from Rutgers-Newark.  He lives with his wife and children in South Orange, NJ.

The Census Bureau continuously surveys and interviews the general population to gather data and turn it into statistics. The Data Dissemination Department deploys outreach specialists to help better understand the workings the American Factfinder website, as well as the statistics. Agencies (public or private), universities, libraries, and associations may request free presentations and workshops from the Census Bureau.
