Full Description

What should you expect when applying for a library job? Turns out that hiring processes across library types are, in fact, quite different. To help you sort it out, we've assembled a panel of hiring librarians from public, school, and academic libraries, as well as a recruiter for special libraries. Through the "flip panel" format, you and a small group of attendees will sit with each panelist, hear their presentations and hiring tips, and have time to ask them questions about what you learned. We'll debrief at the end for an opportunity to comment and ask more questions.

Who should attend?
Students, new grads, professionals looking to transition within the profession and anyone interested in hiring practices in different types of libraries
