Marcy Winkler, Team Leader at JP Morgan for the Business Research Center, specializes in corporate and industry research for the investment bank. Previously, Marcy worked at UBS as a business information researcher for over ten years. Marcy is currently the President of the New York SLA chapter.

 

Bobray Bordelon joined Princeton University as the Economics & Finance Librarian in 1993. In 2004, he added to his duties heading Data & Statistical Services. He is active in IASSIST and the American Library Association and is the 2006 recipient of the Business Reference and Services Section (BRASS) Thomson Gale Award for Excellence in Business Librarianship and a previous elected BRASS Chair.

 

Phebe Dickson works as Industrial Relations/Labor Economics Librarian, Princeton University. While working toward her MLS degreee, she performed a paid, academic year internship at the Lippincott Library of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Princeton, she was a Reference Librarian at Castleton State College in Vermont, where she specialized in business and economics.

 

Ryan Luce joined Brooklyn Public Library’s Business & Career Library in  December 2014 specializing in job search and career help. He previously worked in Buffalo, NY as a Librarian in the public library system and a private medical college.

Careers in Business Librarianship: a Panel Presentation and Discussion
 
Join us to learn more about careers in business librarianship in special, academic, and public libraries. We will hear from librarians who serve as mentors and those just starting their careers. 
 
In this panel discussion, we will discuss education, job skills, and experience needed to work as a business librarian. We'll also learn how library associations such as ALA/BRASS and SLA can assist you through continuing education programs and finding mentors.
