The next High School to College Transition SIG meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11th from 4:30-6:00 PM.
Our event features two presentations.
Danielle Lewis, librarian at Yeshiva University High School for Boys, will talk about her approach to teaching (history) research blending Stripling's information fluency continuum, Common Core standards, and digital inquiry skills. She will share the exiting example of having her students research the history of the Aguilar Library in Harlem.
Neera Mohess from Queensboro Community College will present a brief overview of her approach to the "one shot" information literacy session.
All METRO's special interest group meetings are free of charge for METRO members and non-members alike. Walk-ins are welcome.
