Full Description

This workshop will cover all essential aspects of Digital Asset Management (DAM), from why it’s emerged in recent years, the various skills involved in the practice, and real world examples of how it is put to use.  There will also be a small-group exercise where students will apply the skills discussed.

Who should attend?
This workshop is intended for those with little or no experience with Digital Asset Management, who are interested in exploring it as an avenue for applying library sciences, information sciences, and related skills.

By the end of this program, participants will:

  • Understand the benefits of Digital Asset Management
  • Be familiar with real-world application of DAM practices
  • Have a grasp of the variety of skill sets involved in DAM, and an understanding of how they are applied to solve organizational challenges.
