High School to College Transition SIG Meeting

The High School to College Transition SIG will provide an opportunity for high school and college librarians and teachers who are interested in deep reading, research, and documentation to share their experiences. The group will help high school librarians/educators to prepare students for college, and academic librarians will gain a better idea of what high school students bring to their first year in college.
The agenda for this meeting will include a presentation on a LibGuides project by Margaret Whitehead (AESEC Libraries) and a discussion: What are "college skills" vs. "high school skills" in the library? How do we prioritize which skills to teach when we have limited instructional time?
