Affordable Care Act SIG Meeting

With October 2013 marking the beginning of insurance enrollment through the new marketplace, librarians are facing a high demand for information on the Affordable Care Act (ACA). A recent METRO hosted survey indicated that in addition to consumer-oriented material, many researchers are seeking in-depth analysis about all aspects of the ACA. The Affordable Care Act SIG brings together individuals interested in sharing knowledge and insights about how librarians can best provide resources about the law beyond the insurance marketplace. At our first meeting, the conveners will share their survey results and lead a discussion on pressing issues for librarians around the ACA.
