This hands-on workshop introduces participants to basic features of the powerful yet easy-to-use web analytics tool Google Analytics.  Students will learn about setting up an account, tracking multiple library sites, segmenting audiences, using drill-down reporting, and keeping tabs on social media.

Who should attend:
Librarians, website managers, marketing staff, and LIS students interested in unleashing the power of Google Analytics.

Attendees must have a gmail account and access to a Google Analytics account, ideally containing tracking data.  (If unavailable, attendees will have access to a sample Google Analytics profile for training purposes.) 

By the end of this program, participants will:
- Be able to interpret website traffic patterns, spot trends, and export basic reports
