Terrance D'Ambrosio, the Manager of New York Public Library's Digital Imaging Unit, will be offering a tour of the Library's digitization lab at its processing facility in Long Island City.  The tour will focus on equipment, facilities, and workflow, and there will be discussion of imaging standards and best practices, current and upcoming projects, and ongoing developments within the field. 


Following the tour, Greg Cram, NYPL's Rights Clearance Analyst will give a talk regarding his role within the Library's digitization process, and will focus on the implications of thorough rights analysis - both the constraints and opportunities - in the building of digital collections within a library context.  To wrap up the site visit, both Terrance and Greg will be available for Q&A with participants.
