Interested in a new and efficient way to provide instruction and research guidance to library users?
This hands-on workshop will demonstrate how to create screen-cast and screenshot tutorials using Jing, from Techsmith. Jing is useful for creating tutorials at point-of-need, to be placed at pertinent locations on your library's Web site, or may be used to create demonstrations "on-th-fly" for library users. Since Jing is hosted, it does not require you to upload videos to your own server. Jing videos may be easily embedded in third-party Web sites, like LibGuides. Best of all, Jing is free!
Come join us for a fun and informative workshop in using Jing to enhance library services.
Presented by Associate Professor Benjamin Turner, St. John's University Libraries.
