This workshop helps you learn the why, how, and what of supporting teachers with developing and implementing lessons that support the Common Core standards. You'll learn why it's important to play a big role helping teachers to connect lessons with the Common Core. You'll discover techniques for making the teacher, library, Common Core connection. And, you'll find out what resources are available for learning more about the Common Core standards and school libraries. Attendees will leave with a toolkit for starting the next school year ready to support the Common Core in the library and classroom.
