Marketing Your Library Services Using Social Networking Tools

Utilizing social networks to create a library presence can help bring your library services to the public.  This two-hour online class teaches you how utilizing social software can help you promote library activities and services to connect with your users.  The workshop will highlight a variety of social software outlets, such as Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, and the latest social networking sites.  We will discuss the features of social software for library promotion.

The Gamut of Google

This two-hour webinar will guide your way through some of the Google applications out there that can enhance your web experience and help you serve patrons more effectively.  We'll explore some of the innovative tools and products Google offers - many of them for free!  We'll explore live Google applications as well as take a peek at some that are in the Google lab.
