Take Part in the First Code4Lib New York State Unconference

Registration is now open for the Code4lib New York State Meeting. This event runs on Thursday, August 4 and Friday, August 5 at Mann Library, Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Registration is free, but space is limited.

This first meeting of C4L NYS will be a great place to learn new skills, share ideas, and network with other library technologists from our great state. Community participation is central to this event: please see, propose, and comment on the schedule and breakout sessions here.

We will start each with morning with workshops on Fedora 4, Introduction to CLI for Librarians, and a WriteTheDocs-style bootcamp. Several fantastic community leaders will be leading these workshops.

Both days will conclude with invited talks from two fantastic and engaging members of our community: Patricia Hswe and Tara Robertson. These talks will wrap up each day’s activities and give context and grounding to our broader library technology work.

Check out the event's website and register today!

This event is sponsored by Cornell University Library and Empire State Library Network.
