Seeking Research Proposals for the 2015 myMETRO Researchers Project

by Tom Nielsen, Member Services Manager, METRO

What are the information needs of fashion bloggers? What relationship, if any, exists between academic librarians and independent publishers? Are there best practices for compiling an electronic catalog raisonne?

researchers.jpgIn the past three years, myMETRO Researchers have addressed these questions.

How about you? Do you have a burning research question you’d like to answer? If so, consider submitting a research project proposal for the 2015 myMETRO Researchers Project. Accepted proposals are eligible for support from METRO including venues for presenting, scholarship funds and promotion of your work.

Past projects have been presented at ALA and ARLIS/NA conferences and mentioned on the American Libraries blog.

Visit the myMETRO Researchers webpage for complete details.  myMETRO membership is required for participation.  The deadline for proposals is December 8, 2014. And if you’d rather join a research team, watch for an application form after December 20.
