ITHAKA S+R's Nancy Fried Foster and Roger Schonfeld will present a workshop in mid-December on redesigning library spaces. As one of the primary assets a library offers its community, new demands on space present opportunities to meet the needs of patrons at any part of the research cycle.
A hands-on workshop, this session "is designed to help library leaders drive evidence-based decisions about redesigning and renovating their physical spaces." Learning outcomes for this event include an overview of research findings on libraries as a space, group discussions on utilizing assessment findings for space planning, and "facilitated planning for evidence-based decision-making on space and facilities issues."
This all-day workshop will be held at Ithaka S+R (151 East 61st Street, 4th Floor) on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Registration is required; please RSVP here.
