NYU Archives/Public History Program Receives Support from National Historical Publications and Records Commission

The Director of the Archives/Public History Program at NYU, Dr. Peter Wosh (former member of METRO’s Board of Trustees), has announced that the program has been awarded a grant of $81,300 by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission to incorporate digital technology and new media into the Archives/Public History curriculum. The funds will be used in part to hire a digital curriculum specialist, create new courses, coordinate digital history student internships with institutions in the New York area, conduct workshops for students, and incorporate cutting-edge technology into the program’s curriculum.
