NYPL's David S. Ferriero Named Archivist of the United States by President Obama
In July, the New York Public Library announced the selection by President Obama of David S. Ferriero, the Andrew W. Mellon Director of the New York Public Libraries, as the next Archivist of the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration.
