The Youth Services Section (YSS) of the New York Library Association will hold their annual conference on Friday, April 4th, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains, NY.
The conference will feature a pair of award-winning keynote speakers. Roger Sutton, Editor in Chief of The Horn Book, Inc., will kick off the daylong conference with the keynote presentation, “The Future of Publishing for Young People.” Steve Sheinkin, author of the the Newbery Honor book Bomb will present “Real Stuff Makes Great Reading” at the luncheon session. For those who would like to make a weekend of the conference, the Westchester Library System will host a multi-language book fair on Thursday, April 3rd, and the YSS has planned self-directed tours of new library spaces on Saturday, April 5th.
