IDS Project Invites METRO Community to Join User Group Meetings

A number of METRO members are already working with the IDS Project, but our colleagues at IDS project have extended an invitation to others interested in ILL and resource sharing for their Fall 2012 User Group meetings. Please read on for details from their recent announcement:

A day of training, discussion, and collaboration can aid in the essential service we provide to our students and patrons. We encourage all ILL/DD staff who work daily to provide resources to other libraries and from other libraries to attend and immerse yourself in the IDS Project community. Our agenda will be heavily focused on topics specifically of interest to ILL/DD practitioners, both librarians and support staff.

The meeting will be held Wednesday or Thursday, November 7th or 8th (your choice) at the METRO's Training Center from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm (lunch will be provided). Find the agenda and more information by visiting the newly redesigned Regional User Groups page: http://idsproject.org/usergroups.aspx
