Former METRO Board Member Stanton Biddle Accepts New Assignment at Baruch

Stanton F. Biddle, former Chief Librarian at Baruch College and Administrative Services Librarian there since 1989, has accepted a two-year assignment in the Provost’s Office. In this new position, he will be responsible for coordinating the College’s Middle States accreditation review process. This process includes a comprehensive yearlong self-study of college operations since its last accreditation in 2000, the development of recommendations for improvement, and a visit by an External Evaluation Team in the Spring of 2010.

Biddle has been active with METRO over the past 20 years, having served on the Board of Trustees from 1999-2006 and on various committees, task forces, and councils, including the Digitization Advisory Council and the Information Systems Advisory Council. He is also a member of myMETRO.
