The third international Linked Open Data in Libraries, Archives and Museums (LODLAM) summit will be held June 29-30, 2015 in Sydney, Australia, at the State Library of New South Wales. Applications to attend are currently being accepted on a first come, first served basis until all delegate spots are filled.
METRO is pleased to make available a small number of travel stipends to individuals from institutions in the METRO membership whose applications are accepted by LODLAM.
The LODLAM Summit is a working meeting focused on forwarding the adoption of Linked Open Data in libraries, archives, and museums, or in digital humanities projects worldwide. The ideal delegate will have at least a working understanding of Linked Open Data if not some direct experience with the technology or policies involved. Participants should have the authority to implement policy or technology, or influence decision makers in their institution or sector.
Applicants who are selected to attend and would like to be considered for a travel stipend should notify METRO at the email address below. Please note that stipends are intended to help defray the cost of travel and will not cover incurred expenses entirely.
