ALA Continues Dialogue with Publishers at AAP Annual Meeting

As many of you know, American Library Association President Molly Raphael has been working to actively engage publishers in dialogue around digital content. At the Annual Meeting for the Association of American Publishers, Raphael moderated a panel, "Redefining the Dialogue between Libraries and Publishers." The panel aimed to address the question, "Given the transformative changes to content and distribution, how is the traditional relationship between library and publisher evolving?" Panelists included Jim Neal, Vice President, Information Services and  University Librarian, Columbia University (and METRO Board of Trustees Member); and Dr. Anthony Marx, President and CEO, New York Public Library
