This might be of interest to readers. It's definitely on my calendar.
Join us to hear author Nick Bilton discuss his new book "I Live in the Future and Here's How It Works".
Are video games ruining our kids? Does multi-tasking really make you lose focus? Is social media useful for anyone other than narcissists who share too much? Is the internet really making us stupid? Or are our brains adapting to new media formats? Nick Bilton, lead writer and technology reporter for the New York Times Bits Blog, provides a provocative look at of how a radically changed media world is influencing human behavior--and argues the positive effects of the internet and technology.
This presentation will take place Monday December 6th, 10:15am - 11:30am in the South Court Auditorium, Stephan A. Schwarzman Building (42nd & 5th Ave.).
