This webinar is designed for organizations that are either embarking on digital collaborative projects or are experienced in collaborative projects, but have new partners. We will discuss some keys to success, ask participants to share how they will define the audience for their collaborative project, examine the role of project leadership including senior management and the digital collaborative’s leadership, and develop strategies for defining roles and responsibilities for partners in the collaborative.
By the end of this program, participants will:
• Develop a mission statement and identify an audience for a collaborative project
• Understand the role of project leadership
• Clarify the different roles and responsibilities of each partner
• Understand the importance of celebrating successes
About Our Presenter:
Liz Bishoff is owner of The Bishoff Group, a management consulting organization specializing in library and library related organizations. In addition, she is currently the Project Coordinator and faculty member on a 2009-2011 National Endowment for the Humanities grant, Staying on TRAC: Digital Preservation for Digital Collaborative. Liz has also held positions as BCR - Digital and Preservation Services Vice President, OCLC Vice President for Digital Collection Services, and Executive Director of the Colorado Digitization Program.
