"Libraries and the Mobile Web" Wraps Up Summer Webinars at METRO

This summer we've tackled mobile site generation, digital collection building, and cloud computing and libraries. On August 16, we're wrapping up our short summer schedule with Ellyssa Kroski as she talks about "Libraries and the Mobile Web." Think you know everything there is to know about libraries and mobile computing? That may be true, but in an area of technology that's changing so quickly, we guarantee you'll learn something new.

From 10:00am-11:00am, instructor Ellyssa Kroski will explain what the mobile Web is, explore today’s cutting edge mobile devices and services, and discuss what can be accomplished with mobile Web applications. In addition, she will examine library mobile initiatives, ways to create a mobile experience, and how to get started with the mobile Web.

Registration fees: $20 members; $20 myMETRO; $50 non-members.
